November is getting hot here in Innsbruck, as we invited Ana, Lotte & Samu to come down to Innsbruck and take some of their precious Berlin vibes with them.

Ana and Samu run their own dance school in Berlin (Rayuela Swing) and have been teaching and dancing together for over 4 years. Part of their team is also Lotte, who teaches Collegiate Shag together with Samu.

They dance both roles and love to switch. They also teach their classes from the first lesson to choreo troupe as everybodyleadseverybodyfollows (ELEF) and believe this experience to enable a better understanding in the dance partnership.

The team’s main values are respect for the history of the music and the dance, connection and communication amongst dancers, and self-expression. In their classes, they strive for personal feedback, material that can be used way beyond the hours shared in the classroom, and creating an environment where fun, growth and vulnerability can co-exist.

So, we can‘t wait to invite you to a weekend full of Lindy Hop an Collegiate Shag where the trio from Berlin will share their magical energy with you!

You have already learned solid basic techniques in Collegiate Shag, have been dancing Shag for about half a year to a year and want to develop your skills further? Then this is the right place for you. New moves, new stylings and much more await you. Don’t miss the special “Berlin Flair” and expand your repertoire.

Ambitious:
Shag it is! Have you never missed a Curious Shag class in Innsbruck or have you been dancing Shag intensively for over 2 years? Fast songs not only make your heart beat faster but also make your “smile” bigger. Then this is the right place for you. The clean technique of numerous moves is required here. Good communication with your partner is the basis for new things!

This session is perfect for anyone who has a solid grasp of the basics of Lindy Hop. You should be able to dance with different partners, at different tempos, and best not to stick rigidly to 6- and 8-counts.

 

This unit is for anyone who wants to regularly challenge themselves and their dance technique and work specifically on details. You should believe in the power of counts, be able to vary flexibly between 2-4-6-8-10 and have no problems moving your feet in different rhythms than your partner.
