Meet the Syncopated Birds – the new international Septet formed exclusively for the needs of Swing Dancers. They are 7 exceptional musicians, specializing in the hottest Jazz and Swing Classics.
They formed through the amazing project Big Fat Swing, which was designed to bring swing musicians and swing dancers closer. Big Fat Swing is a project in cooperation with TonArtTirol and possible due to the generous sponsoring of the City of Innsbruck, as well as the Federal State of Tyrol.
The new international Septet “Syncopated Birds“ is formed purposely for Swing Dancers. They arranged a full set list with some of the hottest Jazz and Swing classics perfectly fitting the needs of swing dancers. With a mix of energetic hot jazz and the finest swing, their virtuosic performances and authentic arrangements revive the rhythms of the past, creating an atmosphere full of energy and joy. Inspired by legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie, Syncopated Birds gets dancers’ feet shuffling and kicking.
